The 2020 Brucknerathon - Online Edition!
I have prepared a group of thirteen works from my archive that have one thing in common. They are all works by Bruckner that have been arranged or transcribed for reduced ensembles. This is in keeping with the theme of social distancing that is required during these very unusual times. Some of these performances took place recently (due to these restrictions) and some were recorded years ago. Nevertheless, it will afford the listener an interesting perspective on Bruckner's incredible music.
These recordings will be transferred to you via file transfer. You will then be able to download them onto your computer. All music will be presented as lossless .flac audio files.
The fee for receiving ten hours of music is just $10.00. The revenue will be used for maintenance and new acquisition costs for the Bruckner Archive which now holds over 10,350 recordings. Plans are for the archive to eventually be transferred to the Austrian National Library in Vienna.
Payment can be made via PayPal or by using the Donate button below.
Files will be transferred to recipients on or around September 1st. You can then listen to them at your leisure. The recordings are for your private use and should be construed as time shifting of broadcasts.
You can download the cue sheet below. A detailed copy of the cue sheet will be included with the file transfer.
This Brucknerathon offer will end on Tuesday, September 15th. No files will be transferred after that date.
