This performance that took place last year at St Florian was praised by many of the Bruckner enthuisiasts who were present. Marthe has a keen sense of orchestral color and he is very successful at producing a glorious sound from his ensemble. The 2 CD set also contains an organ work composed and performed by Hermann Nitsch.
