This was, in fact, the first printed edition of Bruckner's Fourth, but it was discounted by Robert Haas as being influenced by the composer's disciples. After years of research, Benjamin Korstvedt proved conclusively that this version was fully authorized by the composer and it has gained increasing acceptance since being fully restored to the complete Brucker Edition.
