Crawford Howie's Bruckner Biography is posted on this site
Howie's two volume "Anton Bruckner - A Documentary Biography" was first published in 2002. Since that time, a great deal of primary research material has come to light and the author wanted to incorporate that information into his biography. Over the next several months successive chapters in the biography will be added. At present, chapter 1 - "The Early Years" has been posted. Since so many of the articles posted on this website are from old publications, it is indeed gratifying to be able to post this book which benefits not only from the latest scholarship, but from Professor Howie's keen understanding of this complex subject.
