His 2005 composition, "Comme une symphonie envoi a Jules Verne" has a unique connection to Bruckner in that Henry incorporates short quotations of Bruckner's nine symphonies in the 40 minute, 7 movement composition.
The work is presented as part of a 3 CD set available on French Philips (4800289-LC).
If you purchase this CD, I must warn you not to play this in your car. There are sounds that will make you think that you have [1] burned out your alternator [2] lost a tire, [3] ripped off a fender.
A short section of the symphonie quoting Bruckner's Symphony No. 6 is offered here as an example.
My thanks to Patrick Leclerc for bringing this recording to my attention.
