Gheorghe Zamfir (b. 1941) is an internationally known performer on the pan pipe. In his album, "The Lonely Shepherd," Zamfir includes an arrangement by Harry van Hoof of the Adagio to the Symphony No. 8. The work is simply titled, "Adagio 8."
