Symphony No. 4: World Premiere of the 1878 Version! / Warren Cohen / Musica Nova DVDOn May 1st of 2022, Warren Cohen and the MusicaNova Orchestra pulled off a coup by giving the world premiere in Scottsdale, Arizona of Anton Bruckner's Symphony No. 4 in the version of 1878. Some of the differences are slight, but there are indeed markedly audible differences - especially in the second and fourth movements. The orchestra offered videos of the performance to donors who financially supported the premiere. Through a special arrangement with the orchestra, abruckner.com can now offer recordings of the performance as well. At present, the recording is available as a Blu-Ray video, a DVD and as an audio compact disc.
