Silent Film DVD uses Bruckner 2nd as Soundtrack!
Conductor, Ira Levin has informed me that there is a DVD release of the 1921 silent horror film classic, "Der Golem" that uses the complete Bruckner Symphony No. 2 as a music soundtrack! He explains, "They simply play the work through once and then go back to the beginning and make kind of an overview of the symphony, when that is done they go back to the beginning yet again until the film ends on a G major cadence from the first movement." To hear this, it is important to purchse the right DVD edition produced by Alpha Video (purchase option below).

UPDATE: I have watched the video and the recording that is used is the "infamous" South German Philharmonic recording which is listed under several pseudonyms in the discography.
