If you know how Ebay works (and any auction for that matter), it just takes two to push up the price on an item. That is what happend a few weeks ago when a very unusual Japanese CD showed up on the list of CDs from a Croatian CD dealer. In the end, abruckner.com won the auction and the CD will be added to the Bruckner Archive and will eventually find its way to the Austrian National Library in Vienna. But the cost was steep...over $200.00!! In an effort to restore our auction reserve, I will be offering clones of the CD for those collectors who are interested. I am only looking to recoup my costs, so the offer will be for a limited time only. The performance dates from 1996, the centenary of Bruckner's death and feaures a very nice performance of the Bruckner Symphony No. 9 by the Kunitachi College of Music Orchestra.
