First known recording of Pange Lingua (1836) is discovered on YouTube

Thanks to the sharp eyes and ears of Reginald Hulhoven, a YouTube video appears to be the first known recorded performance of Bruckner's early Pange Linqua WAB 31. This is the first version of this work that Bruckner composed in 1835/36 when he was just twelve years old. The only otherrecording of this work is of the revised version which Bruckner prepared in 1891. And you thought the symphonies are confusing...
