The 2013 Brucknerathon: A Report
The new Brucknerathon logo
The 2013 East Coast Brucknerathon is officially over and proved to be a very successful event. Nineteen people attended coming from Connecticut (4), Rhode Island (1), Massachusetts (3), New York (3), Pennsylvania (1), Texas (4) and California (3). The playlist (listed below) focused exclusively on performances by American ensembles.

One very short added feature was a performance of the March in E Flat that was exclusively performed and recorded for John Berky by the United States Coast Guard Band. The band, located in New London, Connecticut. is the only one of the five premier service bands not headquartered in Washington, D.C.

Weekend events included a get together dinner in Windsor on Friday night, the all day listening session on Saturday and a Board of Directors meeting of the Bruckner Society of America held on Sunday morning.

Event chronology, souvenirs (still available), and photos are below.
