Bruckner Plaque at Vienna University
After an excellent breakfast, we took a bus tour of Vienna's historic and culturally rich Ringstrasse including a plaque for Bruckner at the University of Vienna. We also stopped at the Karlskirche where Bruckner's body was consecrated and at St. Stephen's Cathedral. We passed two of Bruckner's residences and visited the Bruckner statue in Vienna's Stadtpark.

In the evening we traveled to Grinzing to see the graves of Gustav Mahler and his wife, Alma. Then on to Heuringen for a festive dinner. A bit of wine and some spirited music made for a happy conclusion to a busy day.

Pictures will be added to the gallery soon, but you can sample some tour sounds here.
