Red Note Download: Symphonies 3-5 / Anton Nanut / Ljubljana Radio Symphony Orchestra

These three recordings have been available for years as downloads on such sites as Amazon and Spotify, but some keen listening by a subscriber led to a discouraging discovery and his assumptions have been confirmed by me using Sound Forge software. These are not performances by Anton Nanut. They are, in fact doctored performances by Gennadi Rozhdestvensky. Specifically, they are: Symphony # 3: Moscow Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra Symphony # 4 (Ed. Mahler): Ministry of Culture Symphony Orchestra Symphony # 5: Ministry of Culture Symphony Orchestra The timings of the Red Note recordings do not line up with the Rozhdestvensky performances because they have been digitally s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d to be 18% longer! So sadly, the Discography loses three Anton Nanut performances.
