Powerful Overtures - Exclusiv CD 11542
This CD is wrong in so many ways, It is entitled, "Powerful Overtures" and includes an assortment of exciting classical favorites, but then how does the Scherzo to Bruckner's Symphony No. 3 fit in? It's definitely not an overture. Then the performance credits are given Hans Meichen and the Amsterdam Royal Philharmonic when the real performers are Helmut Haenchen and the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra.
