Ice Planet is a 2001 Canadian-German science fiction film produced as a pilot movie for an intended TV series. The film was directed by Winrich Kolbe and its cast included Wes Studi as Commander Trager.

At 1 hour, 15 minutes into the film (it's final scene), the Adagio from the Bruckner Symphony No. 7 is heard. According to the credits, the performance was recorded exclusively for the film by the Munich Symphonic Orchestra in 2001.
