September, 2024: An Anniversary Brucknerathon
But the anniversary should not shut down the entire Brucknerathon tradition, so I have planned a downloadable version as the September Download of the Month. This Brucknerathon should be one that makes Bruckner especially happy and I can think of nothing that would please him more than for his symphonies to be conducted by women. I scoured the Bruckner Archive and I have found Symphonies 0-9 plus the Te Deum conducted by women - a different one for each work! I leave the detailes embedded in each download so you need to seek out the performers. Some of the audio has been taken off of video files. PLEASE NOTE: Unlike other Downloads of the Month, this one will not stay up after September 31st. |
