Bruckner Archive acquires original Bruckner photograph
This photograph was taken in the studios of Franz Hanfstaengl in Munich in 1885. This matches the photo in Renata Grasberger's Bruckner Ikonographie (Vol. I) and is listed as IKO 18. Unlike some of these photographs, this one has the studio name on the bottom instead of on the back. This photograph is the basis for many Bruckner illustrations which were to follow.
