An oil painting by Gerhard Hartig is acquired by the Bruckner Archive

Gerhard Hartig is the owner of Hartig Jewelers in Haid, Austria. For years, he produced busts of Bruckner, special Bruckner watches and other Bruckner-related jewelry. He also painted a portrait of Bruckner! In 2018, that painting was offered to the Bruckner Archive, but the timing was such that the painting could not be claimed until August of 2019. The painting has now been safely transported to the USA and is part of the Bruckner Archive collection of prints and paintings.
