Biancolli, Louis: Symphony No. 8 - Concert NotesLouis Biancolli (1907-1992) was a music critic for The New York World-Telegram and Sun from 1928 to 1966 and the annotator for the New York Philharmonic Society from 1941 to 1949. Thanks to a recent acquisition of a concert program from 1948 (Bruno Walter / Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York), we are able to once again read his interesting introduction to Bruckner's Symphony No. 8.
