Bruckner Society of America hosts the 13th Bruckner Journal Readers Conference
In addition to the conference, on site participants were treated to a performance of the Mahler Symphony No. 6 as performed by the Philharmonia of Yale conducted by Peter Oundjian. An interesting aspect of the conference was that it brought together three editors of the New Bruckner Edition. They were: Paul Hawkshaw, leading editor of the project, Benjamin Kortsvedt who is editing all the versions of the Symphony No. 4 and Gabriel Venegas Carro, who is editing the 1872 version of the Symphony No. 2. In addition, Thomas Roeder, who is editing the versions of the Symphony No. 1 participated remotely from Germany. | ||||||
