Bruckner Society of America hosts the 13th Bruckner Journal Readers Conference
Conference participants (plus those attending via ZOOM)
The Bruckner Society of America, in conjunction with the Yale School of Music, held the 13th Bruckner Journal's Readers Conference on May 3rd and 4th on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. The conference featured twelve presentations that were made in person and via ZOOM for those who participated overseas or off site. The program for the conference can be downloaded below.

In addition to the conference, on site participants were treated to a performance of the Mahler Symphony No. 6 as performed by the Philharmonia of Yale conducted by Peter Oundjian.

An interesting aspect of the conference was that it brought together three editors of the New Bruckner Edition. They were: Paul Hawkshaw, leading editor of the project, Benjamin Kortsvedt who is editing all the versions of the Symphony No. 4 and Gabriel Venegas Carro, who is editing the 1872 version of the Symphony No. 2. In addition, Thomas Roeder, who is editing the versions of the Symphony No. 1 participated remotely from Germany.
