Symphony No. 7: Carl Buente / Berliner Symphonisches Orchester
Carl August Buente was Music Director of the Berlin Symphonische Orchester for 24 years and the music of Anton Bruckner held a central place in his repertoire. In 1961, he received the German Critic's Music Prize for his interpretations of Beethoven and Bruckner. This 1959 recording has been carefully restored and it brings us a solid performance of one of Bruckner's most popular works. So far, the recording is only available as a download in the US.
