Symphony No. 1: Nicolae Boboc / Banatul Timisoara Philharmonic / ElectrecordThis performance was recorded in October of 1976 and was Electrecord's first commercial release of a Bruckner Symphony. In 1964, they issued an LP of the Bruckner 7th with Zubin Mehta, but that was a limited edition documentation disc prepared in conjunction with the Enescu Festival. The Boboc recording was issued on a stereo LP (STM-ECE-1274). The recording has never been issued on CD. In an exclusive agreement with Electrecord Records, we are offering this historic recording as remastered from the original tapes.
