This is a fascinating CD of an arrangement for ensemble by Rolf Verbeek of the Bruckner Symphony No. 6. It is performed by the Camerata RCO which consists of members of the Concertgebouw Orchestra of Amsterdam. The ensemble consists of violin, viola, cello, bass, clarinet, horn, accordion, piano and timpani. The arrangement is highly effective and allows the listener to clearly hear some of the inner voices sometimes masked by a full orchestra. A wonderful CD and very difficult to find as a CD (most services only offer .mp3 downloads).
