Enjott Schneider's (b. 1950) Organ Sinfonie No. 6 "Te Deum" was inspired by the music of Bruckner. The first and last movements make extremely good use of the four-note opening bars of the Te Deum.The CD of the Symphony can be ordered and sampled here via JPC.

His Organ Sinfonie No. 8 is entitled "In Memoriam - Variations on Bruckner's Symphony No. 8." It was composed in 2009 and will be available on a CD later this year. It is performed by Prof. Silvius von Kessel (titular organist af St. Mary Cathedral in Erfurt, Germany). The First Movement can be downloaded below.
