"In 1989 I was commissioned to write a piece to go along with an art exhibit of paintings by Jack Ox, which were based upon her analysis of Bruckner's Eighth. My piece, Bruckstück, is for 8-part women's chorus (originally written for myself and 8-track tape) uses material from the third movement.
