Newsletter - November 1, 2017
Take a look at the picture to the right. If you are like me and people have a difficult time finding a suitable Christmas / Holiday present for you, then here is an unsubtle suggestion...
I am very happy to announce that we are taking reservations for the third Bruckner Tour of Austria! All the information concerning to tour dates and itinerary is available . We have already sponsored two very successful tours (in 2012 and 2015) and our participants repeatedly tell us that it was one of their best vacations. I use the word repeatedly intentionally since several people have taken BOTH of our previous tours. In addition to visiting many of Austria's Bruckner-related sites, you will get to visit the cities of Vienna and Linz and enjoy concerts in the rarefied atmosphere of St Florian where Bruckner gathered so much of his inspiration. An added bonus will be the tours of Austria's incredibly beautiful countryside and all of this while in the company of people who share the same interests.
The Bruckner Archive (with over 8,750 listings) has been updated and it is easy to download as an Excel file. Many of these recordings are available to collectors and researchers. Contact me for details on how you can fill in some holes in your collection. Ask about our subscription service. It is important to note that the Bruckner Archive database is a different listing from the Discography database and contains many more performances.
Newly acquired recordings can be seen in the "Recordings in Queue" listing in the Bruckner Archive section. These recordings are in the process of being auditioned, edited and added to the archive database.

PLEASE SUPPORT THIS SITEAll the information provided on this site is available to you free-of-charge. But it is not free for me to get it to you. Recordings must be purchased as does the server space upon which this website is stored. We have provided two easy ways for you to support this venture. First is to purchase recordings in my web store and second is to make your regular purchases (of anything!) through my homepage web links to Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, ArkivMusic.com and JPC.de. Purchases will support the ongoing expenses of operating this website.
