Oehms Classics, which has already given us Bruckner symphony cycles by Stanislaw Skrowaczewski, Simone Young and Ivor Bolton, is now planning the release of a symphony cycle of organ transcriptions.

The cycle will be released at the rate of 2-3 discs per year and culminating on Bruckner's 200th centenary in 2024. Each volume will include a complete symphony and a new work based on Bruckner's music.

Hanjoerg Albrecht will be performing on the Bruckner Organ at the St. Florian Basilica.

The first release in due out in September. It will include the Overture in G Minor and the "Die Nullte" Symphony. It will also include a work entitled, "Kyrie XI - Bruckner-Fenster" by Philipp Maintz.

Abruckner.com will be offering these CDs for sale via this website.
