A new book about Bruckner's symphonies

A new book about Bruckner's symphonies
Jan David Schmitz, the former Head of Programming, Dramaturgy and Staged Projects at the Brucknerhaus in Linz has collaborated with Markus Poschner, Music Director of the Bruckner Orchestra Linz in a new book about the eleven symphonies of Anton Bruckner.

The book is written in the form of a conversation. Schmitz and Poschner approach the eleven symphonies through an entertaining dialogue between theory and practice, easily understandable for music lovers while offering a perspective on the composer and his work that is as free from prejudice as possible, thus painting a new picture of Bruckner.

The book is in German, but the downloaded version can be scanned and translated via computer.
