A Major new Bruckner cycle is about to be released
The box set
Arthaus is about to release a major Bruckner cycle in a special boxed set.

The set has several elements:

1) The Symphonies: A cycle of Bruckner's Symphonies 1-9 has performed by Valery Gergiev and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. The cycle was recorded over the last few years in concerts at the Saint Florian Basilika. The performances are on 5 DVDs and 3 Blu Ray discs:

2) The Documentary The set will include a DVD / Blu ray disc of the Documentary, "Bruckner, the Misunderstood Genius" produced by Reiner Moritz. The documentary is presently in theatrical release in Germany and Austria) and has been shown in Austrian Television. Interestingly, the documentary follows the "Bruckner Tour of Austria" on several of its stops in August of 2018.

3) The Book:The set will include a hardcover book written by Dr. Elisabeth Meier, a remarkable person who has quietly devoted much of her life to the study of Bruckner and his music.

The exact price has not been determined, but it will be over $200.00.
