Bruckner Archive acquires the Goellerich-Auer Multi-Volume Bruckner Edition
Using funds received through the sale of CDs on this website, the Bruckner Archive has purchased a rare copy of the 4 volume (nine books) biography of Bruckner published in Regensburg in 1927. The set (written in German) contains many illustrations, musical examples, facsimile photos and fold-out copies of correspondence.

August Goellerich (1859-1923) was a conductor and musicologist. He was a proponent of Bruckner's music and spent his later years compiling an exhaustive biography. When he died in 1923, Max Auer (1880-1962) completed the biography.
