December, 2009 - Overture in G Minor / Hannover Youth Orchestra

Click to enlarge Back in June of 1981, the Hannover Youth Orchestra in Germany put on a concert that included a performance of Anton Bruckner's Overture in G Minor. All of those students have moved onto various careers, some hopefully in music, but thanks to an LP record issued by the orchestra, we have a chance to look back to the time when they all banded together to play this overture. Anton Plate is the conductor. Amazingly, the LP is still available from the orchestra
