Guiseppe Sinopoli: Bruckner Symphony Set / Tower Records Exclusive / Plus a BONUSGuiseppe Sinopoli (1945-2001) was well on his way to recording a Bruckner symphony cycle for DGG when he passed away suddenly. Several year later, Tower Records in Japan issued a special set of the Bruckner Symphonies that had already been recorded. The 6 CD set includes symphonies 3-5 and 7-9 - all with the Staatskapelle Dresden. The set has always been a collectors item since Tower Records does not export these custom sets. This particular set is brand new and sealed - complete with the "Obi" wrapper.
What makes this set unique is that I will add an excellent BBC aircheck of Sinopoli conducting the Bruckner Symphony No. 6.
Few people in the world will have a Sinopoli set of Symphonies 3-9.
