David Aldeborgh was presented with the Bruckner Society of America's Medal of Honor at a luncheon at the historic Beekman Arms Inn in Rhinebeck, New York. The event, held especially for the presentation, took place before invited guests on Saturday, March 19, 2011. The presentation was made by Society secretary, John Berky and board member, William Carragan. David Aldeborgh is an ardent enthusiast of Bruckner's music and was the producer of several LPs featuring world premiere recordings including the Magnificat, the Missa Solemnis, and the 1872 version of the Symphony No. 2.

David Aldeborgh gave guests a CD transcription of his Jerusalem LP containing Bruckner's Magnificat, Missa Solemnis, and two songs. William Carragan presented David and John Berky with a score to his newly completed transcription of the Symphony No. 5 for Two Pianos. The work will be presented at the Bruckner Journal Biennial Conference in Oxford, England in April.
