SCORE: Symphony No. 3 (2nd version of 1878) edited by Fritz Oeser

$59.95
Fritz Oeser's Second Version of Bruckner's Symphony No. 3 was published in 1950 by the Brucknerverlag Wiesbaden and presents the symphony as Bruckner left it in 1878. Nowak's edition of the Second Version looks back to 1877. Because of that, Nowak included the Scherzo coda while Oeser omits it. The Oeser edition was the one used by Hans Schmidt-Isserstedt for his recording on an Allegro LP and also used by Bernard Haitink for his recording of the complete Bruckner Symphony cycle.

The score is soft covered. The spine is tight. There are a few flaked pieces off of the top of the cover, but otherwise the score is in excellent condition.
