That concert featured a performance of the Bruckner Symphony No. 7 performed by Bruno Walter and the New York Philharmonic. Inexplicably, the recording was never released and has been sitting in the Columbia (now Sony/BMG) vault for fifty-four years! Thanks to Testament, we can now hear this illuminating performance.
