The film by Hans Conrad Fischer on the life of Anton Bruckner runs 131 minutes. In addition to the story of Bruckner's life, it includes some short musical excepts. Eugen Jochum and Rafael Kubelik are seen frequently, but there are two instances where Rudolf Kempe conducts the Munich Philharmonic in excerpts from the Symphonies 1 and 2 which have never been commercially released except for what is on this VHS release. For that reason, I have included them here.
