It should be noted that this is a semi-pornographic gay movie. Details of the music's use are given below:
The film uses sections of Bruckner's Symphony No. 9 [Haitink?]. The scherzo (opening section) during the opening titles, then again during a walking sequence on a rail track, then during a male stripping and dancing sequence. The producer uses the first movement's Gesangsperiode during a romantic sequence in a field (twice), then during a transvestite's dance scene (for several minutes). The third movement (opening section) is then used during a scene in which jealousy and hard feelings are displayed. The scherzo is the heard again in a card playing scene in the desert. Then it's again the adagio. Then the climax of the adagio is used during a dance with fire, and then again during a copulation scene. Just after, it is the first movement again, this time the opening (until after the full exposition of the first theme). The last Bruckner we hear is the beginning of the reprise section of the first movement. In all, of 80 minutes of film, there is around twenty minutes with Bruckner. No conductor is given.
